Franklin Tennessee's 2013 4th of July Celebration
"Franklin On The 4th"
is moving back to
"The "Historic Downtown Square".
This event is coordinated by The Franklin Lions Club and TN Events
in conjunction with the City of Franklin, and benefits The Franklin Lions Club . Starting at 10 a.m. the square will be bustling with music, children's activities, food, crafts, as well as other things to do and see! The Kid's Zone will be filled with things to dazzle the little ones including inflatables, slides, climbing walls a petting zoo & pony rides. There will also be an expanded craft vendor section featuring high quality hand made items.
The tradtion of the "Children's Parade" will continue and begin at 5:00 p.m. (Children will begin lining up at a designated marked location at 4:45) There will be Prizes for best costume and decorated bikes and wagons. Pets are welcome!
The 2012 festival drew an estimated 10,000 people for the one day event. The event begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 9:30 p.m..

10:00 a.m. Festival Opens, Bluegrass Music on the Main Stage
11:30 a.m. 2nd Group Performs.
1:00 p.m. 3rd Group Performs.
2:30 p.m. 4th Group Performs.
4:00 p.m. The Zinghopper's Children's Show Performs.
4:45 p.m. Begin Line-up for the Children's parade around the square
5:00 p.m. Children's parade begins with the Zinghopper's and Dixieland band.
5:15 p.m. Dixieland Band on the Stage
6:30 p.m. 7th Group Performs.
7:15 p.m. Speech's, Recognitions, Presenting
of the Colors, Pledge of Allegiance, Star Spangled Banner
8:00 p.m. The Featured Band of the Evening: "The Devonshire's"
9:15 p.m. The Devonshire's stop playing, and the audience positions themselves to see the fireworks.
9:30 p.m. Festival Ends
